GNI’s academic and professional path reflects a relentless pursuit of excellence.

His early education began at Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School, Imeko, in the late 1960s. He later graduated with First Class Honours in Accounting from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1986, before obtaining a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Lagos in 1995.

Between these academic milestones, he successfully completed the rigorous examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS). Today, he is a Fellow of both institutes and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

His dedication to continuous learning has taken him through executive programmes at Lagos Business School, Euromoney UK, Harvard Kennedy School, and the Institute of Public-Private Partnerships, Washington D.C. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Governance and Leadership at the University of Abuja.
