Currently, GNI represents Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, where he serves as Chairman of the House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development. In this role, he contributes to shaping Nigeria’s long-term economic strategies, development frameworks, and fiscal reforms.
Previously, he chaired the House Committee on Student Loans, Scholarships and Higher Education Financing, where he laid the groundwork for equitable education access and youth development policies.
At the onset of his representation, GNI designed and launched a 15-Year Development Masterplan for Yewa North/Imeko-Afon, titled Pushing the Frontiers of Prosperity. The plan, anchored on agriculture, infrastructure, education, empowerment, and governance, is a bold roadmap to institutionalize progress beyond electoral cycles.
