Immediately after his election, at the resumption of the 10th National Assembly, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka unveiled a bold 15-Year Development Plan (2023–2038) for Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency.
This transformative plan charts a path for sustainable growth across agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, governance, and cross-border trade. It sets clear milestones to improve living standards and unlock economic potential for over 450,000+ residents of the constituency.
Key Highlights
Agriculture & Industry
Harness 3,700 sq km of fertile land and rich mineral deposits (limestone, gold, kaolin) to establish agro-allied industries, industrial parks, and processing zones.
Education
Raise the student–teacher ratio from 1:60 to 1:25 by 2038, provide digital tools in every school, and expand STEM-focused learning.
Healthcare
Increase Primary Health Centres from 43 today to 150 by 2038, while reducing doctor-patient ratio from 1:75,000 to 1:10,000.
Water & Sanitation
Expand access to safe water from just 5% of households in 2023 to 80% by 2038 through new purification plants and boreholes.
Infrastructure
Rebuild critical roads (e.g., Abeokuta–Olorunda–Iwoye, Ilara–Ijoun–Ilase) and explore power generation from Yewa River to boost connectivity and productivity.
Youth & Women Empowerment
Drive digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and MSME financing to support inclusive job creation.
